The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, Sarasota

I had high hopes for this hotel, especially as a Ritz Carlton, but my experience was mixed. The welcoming champagne at check-in was a nice touch, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the premises. However, the service felt inconsistent and not up to the expected standards, with several issues faced during my stay. The location is decent for exploring downtown, but the facilities could really use some updates to justify the high rates.

My stay was pretty decent, but not without its hiccups. The rooms were a touch smaller than anticipated and a bit noisy due to the elevator traffic, which was a letdown. The beach club was beautiful and pretty relaxing, though, which made up for some of the frustrations. The dining options were alright, yet they felt overpriced for what you got. Overall, it felt like there was potential for a luxurious experience, but it fell short in a few key areas.
